The Bellomo Palace Transfiguration: Detail, St. Agatha

As usual, the saint is portrayed with her severed breasts on a platter. Blond hair is also common in her portraits, although it is usually not so long. It is much less usual for her to have a crown. The palm branch refers to her martyrdom.
