Isidoro Boscari (attrib.)
St. Camillo of Lellis Assists the Sick

Late 18th century
Oil on canvas
Diocesan Museum, Caltagirone, Sicily
Originally in the Church of St. Agatha

The red cross, in the shape seen here, is the universal attribute for this saint. The heart in a burst of light is not something I have seen in other images of St. Camillo. He was noted for his work with the sick in the Ospedale Santo Spirito in Rome.
