The text behind this image may be Philippians 2:8-9, "…he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him…." Here the crucified Son is represented by the cross alone, and the Father's reception and glorification of him is represented by light rays emanating from the apex of the image.
