St. Antoninus

Fresco
Basilica of Sant'Eustorgio

The saint is labeled in the inscription below, which translates "St. Antoninus, Archbishop, Day May 2." The "day" is the day of his death, which was celebrated as his feast day. As an archbishop he wears a cope and mitre, and he holds a crozier. His right hand is partly lost but seems to have been held in a blessing configuration.
