The Müstair Frescos of the Life of Christ

The Benedictine Convent at Müstair is one of those founded by Charlemagne in the 9th century. Along its north and south walls are 84 fresco panels picturing the lives of King David and Jesus. All the frescos are seriously faded and several have crumbled away completely.
