St. Peter Leaves with the Angel

This panel continues the story of St. Peter's escape from prison (Acts 12:6-10). Here the angel leads him to the city gate.

The inscription above says SE SCIENS LIBERATUM PER ANGELUM PETRUS SECURE VADIT AD OSTIUM, "Realizing that he has truly been freed by the angel, Peter fearlessly goes to the gate."
