Christ seated in the pretorium Local Name: El Dios de la
Peña. Basis for Identification: Seated,
blood streaming from the crown of thorns (basketweave
pattern) and from lesions on the knees, white trousers
edged in cutwork, red cape, gold-colored
tasseled lasso hanging from neck to floor
and tied in a figure-8. The left cheek rests lightly on
the left hand. The right hand is not positioned for
holding a sceptre. Site: Church of San Pedro y San
