Saint Brigid

1929
Stained glass
Parish Church of Krefeld-Hüls, Germany

Saint Brigid's most distinctive attribute is a cow, and here we see two. In the lower left is a jug, referring to her many miracles involving milk. Unusually, the artist has omitted the saint's crozier. The church in the upper left very much resembles the Church of St. Brigid in Ballintra, Ireland.
