The Body of St. Mark is Brought into the Basilica
West façade of St. Mark's Basilica (first arch on the left)
The body can be seen in its coffin just below the image of Christ in the central arch of the façade, carried by two bishops or abbots with croziers. Above the image of Christ are the four bronze horses that had recently been taken from Constantinople.
