St. Margaret holds what is sometimes called a Bohemian Cross, with three overlapping circles at the ends of the crosspiece and the top. This refers to the dragon miracle. She has long, blond hair and wears a chaplet of flowers and antique dress. Curiously, there is no palm branch to indicate her status as a martyr.
