St. Anthony Abbot

Wood, paint, gilding
Oratorio of St. John the Baptist, Urbino, Italy

The attributes used in this sculpture include the Antonine habit, the mitre (signifying an abbacy), the flame, the tau-topped staff (where, however, the tau has become a clearly Roman T), the bell, and the pig. The ellipse-shaped device in the base adds a flame to a T-S monogram.
