Polyptych of the Madonna Enthroned: Detail, St. Christopher

The saint is shown as usual, with a palm branch signifying martyrdom in his hand and the child Jesus on his shoulder. The child blesses the viewer with his right hand and tousles Chistopher's hair with his left. The image lacks the walking stick that St. Christopher often carries.
